This week we are joined by Ms Joanmariae Louise Fubbs – Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Trade and Industry and Member of Parliament for the African National Congress (ANC). We discuss some of the goals of the Department of Trade and Industry, such as the acceleration of employment through industrialisation, small business development and entrepreneurship; prioritising intra-Africa trading; enabling broad based black economic empowerment. Collectively Africans need to upgrade and develop Africa for its sustainable future.
