This week we talk to Mignon Dupreez, the captain of South Africa’s ladies national cricket team. She shares some of the responsibilities associated with captaining the national cricket team, from an internal perspective preparing the squad to externally promoting – not just the game of cricket but women in sport. She emphasises the importance of embracing the opportunity to be a role model to positively influence young girls and encourage them to reach for their dreams, and demonstrating by example that it is possible to break through barriers and build a legacy.
