Today’s broadcast of Womanity-Women in Unity closes out 2018, and we use this episode to celebrate African female leadership with special compilations that include extracts from conversations with two former African female presidents. Dr. Ameenah Gurib-Fakim who was the sixth president and the first female president of the Republic of Mauritius and President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, the former President of Liberia who served as the country’s 24th president and first elected female head of state.  They share some of their accomplishments in office and aspirations for the future of women leadership in Africa.
