She shares key career and life moments that have shaped her, with courage being a guiding force. We discuss the underrepresentation of women in leadership roles and factors affecting this, from underdeveloped soft skills to operating in a patriarchal environment. We highlight the responsibility of female leaders to not only develop upcoming women but open opportunities for them to ascend to the top. For example, BP Southern Africa now has 45% female representation at executive level.
