This week we talk to Major General Katoki Catherine Motlhabane Chief Director of Human Resource Management in the South African National Defence Force. We consider some of the challenges for women working in a male dominated environment, the necessity of proving their worth through competency and some of the interventions underway to achieve the defence force’s transformation objectives of 30% women and 70% men throughout its ranks.
